Week of 2021-05-09:  Line-Following Robots

Background

Robots are all around you.  Many factories use robots to perform tasks that are too dangerous, too hard, or too tedious for humans.

Watch this video of a German warehouse that uses line-following robots to move items around the factory.

Activities

This week you will learn how to program an Ozobot line-following robot.  You do not need to programming the robot to follow lines; that was done by the programmers at Evollve when the Ozobots were made.  However, you can program the robots to speed up, slow down, and turn a certain direction at intersections.  To do this you will use special color codes which Ozobot is programmed to recognize.

See if you can make Ozobot do each of the actions below!
